DOMINION APPLES
SHIPMENT TO CANADA. MONTREAL, Canada. The first New Zealand apples have arrived in Canada and approximately 50,000 boxes will be distributed. New Zealand apples arrive in Canada fresh from the trees, usually having been picked around the end of March. They therefore come direct from the tree stems and at a time when there are not fresh apples available in the northern hemisphere. ( Started a few years ago experimentally, the demand for this fruit has grown rapidly.
