CHANNEL EXERCISES
WITH ALL ARMS ENGAGED ANNOUNCED BY BRITISH AUTHORITIES. “LANDING ON HOSTILE TERRITORY.” (British Official Wireless.) (Recd This Day, 10.55 a.m.) RUGBY, July 1. The Admiralty, War Office and Air Minister announce that combined operations and exercise will be carried out in the Channel between July 5 and 10 with the object of practising a surprise landing in “hostile territory.”
