FLOODS IN JAPAN
MORE THAN 225,000 HOUSES DESTROYED NUMEROUS. LANDSLIDES HEAVY LOSS OF LIFE TOKIO, July 1. More than 225,000 houses have been destroyed by the floods and there have been 1300 landslides in the last two days. The toll of the floods in the Kwanto area is 134 drowned and eight missing.
