SHEEP SALES

OFFERINGS IN SYDNEY. COMPETITION NOT KEEN. SYDNEY, June 29. There were 431 offerings of merino stud sheep at the sales today. Prices were only fair and Competition was not keen. Realisations aggregated £BB9l, the average price being £22 6s 9d. ■ A special stud Corriedale, lambed in July, 1936, was sold on behalf of Mr J. MacFarlane, of Cudal, to the estate of the late Mr J. A. Johnstone, of Bushy Park, Dunedin, for 350 guieas.
