Mrs A. G. Parker, of Hukanui, is a visitor to Rotorua. Mr and Mrs J. B. Thompson, Hastings, are visitors to Masterton for the McLeod—Buick wedding. Mrs H. Stewart, of Featherston, was a recent visitor to Hukanui, being the guest of Mrs R. Udy. Miss Muriel Hancox. Palmerston North, is staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs G. G. Hancox, Masterton. Mr and Mrs Arthur Robottom, Otane, are the guests of Mr R. Buick, Masterton, for the McLeod —Buick wedding. Mrs A. Roadley, of Whangarei, and formerly of Pongaroa, is visiting friends in the latter district, and is at present the guest of Mrs F. West. ENGAGEMENTS. The engagement is announced of Jean, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Martin, Hastings, to Mr A. Patrick K. Ryan, of Eketahuna. The engagement is announced of Doreen Anastasia, youngest daughter of Mrs and the late Mr J. J. Kennedy, of Opaki Road, Masterton, to Robert Richardson, fourth son of Mrs and the late Mr G. R. Griffin, of Nelson.
