9 ALLEGED DISCLOSURE IN FAR EAST. BRITISH ARMY COUNCIL ORDERS INQUIRY. (Recd This Day, 10.38 a.m.) RUGBY, June 28. The War Office announced that the General Officer Commanding in Chief in the Eastern Command has been instructed by the Army Council to cause a Court of Inquiry to be assembled immediately to inquire into the circumstances in which a disclosure of highly secret information relating to anti-aircraft defences came to be made.
