♦ GANZON BEATS CLARK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 26. Ahead on points on at least eight of the twelve rounds, Dominic Gan.ton the Filipino boxer, last night beat Snowy Clark, lightweight champion of Western Australia, in as good a fight as has been seen in Christchurch for years. Both weighed 9st 11b. Clark had an advantage in reach but it was nullified by Ganzon’s greater speed. Every round was packed with honest boxing and both were very game.
