COMPENSATORY PRICES

ADDRESSES IN WAIRARAPA. Colonel S. J. E. Closey has completed his immediate tour of (he Wairarapa, during which he addressed meetingse at Masterton, Greytown, Eketahuna, Featherston and Carterton on compensatory prices for dairy produce. All the meetings were well attended, the Carterton one especially, and Colonel Closey was well received throughout the district, many questions being asked at every meeting. By special request Colonel Closey will address a public meeting in Carterton on Wednesday evening next.
