General Situation: An intense anticyclone still covers New Zealand and the eastern Tasman Sea, but pressure has now fallen considerably over south-eastern Australia. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds with northerlies gradually predominating. Weather: Fair to fine; temperatures milder.
