OBITUARY
MR DAVID JAMES DONALD. The many friends in the Wairarapa ■of Mr David James Donald will regret to learn of his death, which occurred yesterday in Wellington, at the age of 31 years. The late Mr Donald was a son of the late Mr and Mrs L. Donald, : of Te Ore Ore, at which place he was . born. He received his 'early education at the Te Ore Ore school and later at- , tended the Wairarapa High School, . concluding his studies at Victoria Unversity, where he secured his M.A. . degree. He composed the Wairarapa . High School song. When his father died about ten years ago, Mr Donald J returned to Te Ore Ore and was en- ’ gaged in farming for a period but later ’ joined the teaching staff of Wellington ‘ College and of Victoria University, positions he held at the time of his death. He was unmarried and is survived by one brother. Mr Lawrence 1 Donald, of Wellington, and one sister, £ Miss Jean Donald, of Masterton. 1 The funeral will take place on Mon- 1 day, leaving the Methodist Church, ' Masterton, -at 2 p.m., for the Masterton t Cemetery.
