4 DISCUSSION WITH GERMAN DELEGATE. RUGBY, June 22. Dr E. Weihl, of the German Foreign Office, who heads the German delegation for the Anglo-German financial and economic negotiations with reference to the Austrian debt, had a preliminary talk today with Sir Frederick Leith-Ross, ’ Chief Economic Adviser to the Government. It is understood that the object of the visit was to exchange views on a basis on which definite negotiations between the two delegations could be resumed. Dr Weihl will see Sir Frederick; again tomorrow.
