BRIDE=TO=BE

GUEST OF HONOUR AT PARTIES. Miss Erma Buick, of Masterton, who is to be married at the end of this month, has been the guest of honour at several parties recently. Mrs J. Jameson entertained Miss Buick and a number of her friends on a recent evening. Games were played, community singing held and a presentation was made to Miss Buick. Last Tuesday evening Mrs E. C. Fowler was hostess at a gathering at her home. On behalf of the Masterton Racing Club, the president (Mr J. M. James) made a presentation to Miss Buick. Yesterday afternoon, Miss Nancy Morrison, Awatoitoi, entertained Miss Buick and a number of her friends at a “green” gift tea.
