NEW MAGISTRATE
♦ MR. A. COLMAN APPOINTED WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr Alfred Coleman, who has been a member of the Court of Review under the Mortgagors and Lessees Rehabilitation Act since its inception, and was chairman of the Taranaki Adjustment Commission has been appointed as a magistrate. He is a qualified accountant as well as a barrister and solicitor. Formerly he was in practice at Stratford. While the necessity for the existence of the Court of Review continues, Mr Coleman will not relinquish his position on the Court, but when the Court is not sitting, he will relieve in magisterial work. |
