* OVER THE ALEXANDRETTA ELECTION REFUSAL TO RECOGNISE COMMISSION (Recd This Day, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 22. The “News Chronicle’s” Geneva correspondent says the Turkish Government has informed the League of Nations that it will not recognise the authority of the commission entrusted with the supervision of the Sanjak election. Turkey has also refused to pay a share of the commission’s expenses, which lack of funds may force it to leave. Attempts are being made to mollify the Turks.
