HEALTH CAMP CONCERT

A final reminder is given of the concert to be held at the Opera House tonight in aid of the Otaki Children’s Health Camp and Opera House furnishing fund. The prices of admission are within reach of all, and a packed house should greet the talented Masterton performers. Variety is the keynote of the concert, and the public should have an excellent night’s entertainment. The action songs, etc., of the Hamua Glee Party should be greatly enjoyed. The dances by Miss Adeline Burnitt’s party from Wellington, Miss Hazel Lock’s pupils, Miss Valmai Price and little Noline Graham are features of the concert. Then there is “Teddy,” the clever little trick dog and his trainer, Sid Gerrand. Frank Pool’s Blue River Orchestra and Harry Hall in humorous character songs. Others taking part are Mrs Evelyn Oliver, Miss Peggy Broughton, Mrs J. Moss, Rex and Ross Riley, Doug. Wellington and William McMichael. Miss Nona Mulvey is the official accompanist. In all over sixty performers will take part in the concert. The doors will open at 7.30 o’clock and the concert will commence at 8 o’clock sharp.
