MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB. (“Times-Age” Special) At the weekly competition of the Nireaha Miniature Rifle Club the following scores were registered:—L. Hansen 99, P. Sigvertsen 99, F. Sigvertsen 99, R. Shannon 98, ,L. Goss 98, S. R. Blewett 97, M. Stewart 97, L. Lilly 97, G. Drysdale 95, W. Manser 95, L. Sigvertsen 95, C. Hansen 94, Jim Petersen 93, J. P. Sigvertsen 92, Miss M. Sigvertsen 92, R. Petersen 88, K. Death 84. The shoot-off was won by L. Hansen, who thus secures the trophy. YOUNG FARMERS MEET. At the monthly meeting of the Nireaha Young Farmers’ Club Messrs B. Davidson and E. M. Wright were appointed to represent the club at the educational week to be held in Wellington. An interesting address on various problems of the dairy farmer was given by Mr J. Barnes. It was decided to ask Mr Arthur Golder to give an address next month on pig husbandry. NIREAHA STORE DIRECTORATE. Mr R. P. A. Thomasen, who has retired from the directorate of the Nireaha Co-operative Store has been succeeded by Mr F. B. Rossiter. PERSONAL. Mr G. C. Watson, formerly of Alfredton, has been appointed to the staff of the Pahiatua Borough Council.
