ODD FELLOWS’ LODGE

SPECIAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. VISIT TO PALMERSTON NORTH ARRANGED. A special meeting of the Loyal Masterton Oddfellows’ Lodge, presided over by Bro F. Knowles, N.G., decided to purchase a set of indoor bowls for the use of Lodge members. A visit to Loyal Manawatu Lodge, Palmerston North, on Thursday, June 30, was arranged. A bus will leave the lodge room at 5.30 p.m. Bros F. Knowles, A. Torrance, E. Mooney and J. Harris were appointed to arrange for a football team to play at Dannevirke on Saturday, July 16. Bro P. M. Smith was appointed manager. One member - was admitted by clearance, and one new member initiated. The Lodge will hold a dance next month. The card committee reported on the weekly card tournament.
