PROTEST AGAINST FAILURES IN EXAMINATION MURDEROUS ATTACKS MADE ON PROFESSORS AGGRESSOR TAKES HIS OWN LIFE (Recd This Day, 12.55 p.m.) BAGHDAD, June 20. Dissatisfied with the result of law examinations, in which there was an unusually large percentage of failures, a party of angry students interviewed the Principal, Dr Mahmound Azmi and a lecturer, Dr Hassan Saif. There followed an exciting scene, in which a student, Daoud Bayat, shot Dr Azmi in the shoulder, and Dr Saif in the head, and then shot himself dead. Dr Saif is in a critical condition.
