MAHUNGA CLUB GAMES. RESULTS OF SATURDAY’S PLAY. The following were the best cards returned on Saturday when members of the Mahunga Golf Club played the third round of the net aggregate in conjunction with the first qualifying round of the Ladies' Trophy: G. T. Wagg 67, I. McFarlane 68, L. M. Roach, V. Burridge, A. H. Ward, E. Sandbeck 69, R. Lendrum, W. W. Hendry, J. G. McFarlane 71, T. Nelson, W. Johansen, C. Sutherland 72, R. Smith, F. Brockett 73, G. R. Ward, E. Jenkins, P. Hamill 74, S. Jenkins, J. L. Hughes 75. In the play off between R. Hughes, R. J. Smith and D. A. Hunn for 15th and 16th positions for the Captain’s Trophy, R. Hughes was eliminated. LADIES’ GAMES. The following were the best cards handed in by lady members:—Mrs Ward, 96-24-72; Mrs Riddell, 103-26-77; Mrs Roach, 109-30-79. The winner of the competition for the golf club donated by Misses M. and M. Chapman, was Mr E. Jenkins. MASTERTON CLUB. STABLEFORD COMPETITION. A stableford competition played at the Lansdowne links on Saturday by members of the Masterton Golf Club resulted as follows: — A grade: G. R. Grylls 37, L. Kibblewhite 37, J. Donald 35. B grade: F. M. Cunningham 36, G. R. Joy 31. RIVERSIDE CLUB. LADIES AND MEN’S RESULTS. The following were the best cards handed in by members of the" Riverside Golf Club for a stableford round (president’s trophy) played last Saturday:— Ladies.—Mrs Blatchford 38 points, Miss N. Selby 35 points, Miss Bampton, Miss Joblin, Miss Buckeridge 33 points, Mrs Clarkson, Mrs Naan, Miss Shearer 31 points. Men.—F. Shearer 38 points, R. Baker 37 points, G. Beecroft, G. Rushton, W. J. Palamontain 33 points, A. Dixon, J. Thornton, W. J. Rew, M. Finlayson 32 points, L. F. Gray, J. Bell, C. F. Chapman, R. G. Henry 31 points.
