FEATHERSTON

JUVENILE CONCERT. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mrs Lowell’s juvenile concert party gave an enjoyable entertainment at the Buchanan Home on Saturday afternoon, the items being much appreciated by the inmates. Mr J. Gaul thanked the performers for the pleasure which the party had given them. The children were entertained with soft drinks and the adults to afternoon tea by the matron and staff of the hospital. The adults of the party brought cakes, which were given to the inmates. GOLF CLUB MATCH. The inter-club match between Martinborough and Featherson on Saturday resulted in a win for Martinborough by 111 games to 4J. The results are as follow (Martinborough names being mentioned first): — At Featherston: H. Harvey beat W. Rowles; S. Martin beat W. Crawford; W. Martin beat H. Wehipeihana; J. Pike lost to K. Allen; M. Perry lost to G. O’Neale; L. Frank lost to W. Fountain; C. Sievers beat H. Bloxam; J. Martin beat J. McAllum. At Martinborough: W. McConnell beat T. Lang; G. Griffiths lost to D.
