BULL IN WAIHI

TAKES TEMPORARY CHARGE OF MAIN STREET. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIHI, This Day. Some diversion was caused in Waihi’s main street on Sunday morning when a young bull, emerging from a bystreet, temporarily took charge. A cyclist was chased, but evaded the charge by nipping round a corner. The animal pursued its way up the street and charged a couple of young girls walking on the pavement, one of whom was knocked down, but fortunately escaped with slight and superficial injuries. ■mm
