PASSENGER BADLY INJURED By Telegraph—Press Association. TAUMARUNUI, This Day. A car driven by Thomas Neill, of Manunui, with John Jamieson, whose home is in Hunterville, and Thomas Roper, of Manunui, as passengers got out of control while approaching Taumarunui on the main road. The car shot across the road, colliding with a •telegraph pole and turned upside down. Mr Jamieson was taken to hospital with severe injuries to his spine. Messrs Roper and Neill received slight injuries.
