DARING ATTACK ON JAPANESE WARSHIPS
Four Vessels Reported Sunk and One Damaged JAPANESE PURSUIT PLANES ELUDED By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11 a.m.) HANKOW, June 19. Chinese aeroplanes daringly attacked a concentration of fifty Japanese warships, probably mostly gunboats, and claim they sank foui and damaged one, near Anking. Twelve Japanese pursuit planes engaged the raiders, whose superior speed enabled them to escape scathless.
