EXPORTS FROM NEW ZEALAND By Telegrauh.—Press i WELLINGTON, This Day. Shipments of butter from New Zealand last month amounted ’to 11.894 tons, as against 10,412 tons for May, 1937, an increase of 1482 tons. According to the returns supplied by the Primary Products Marketing Department, exports of butter for the 10 months ended May 31 totalled 127,572 tons, compared with 129,894 tons for the corresponding period of last season, a decrease of 2322 tons. Shipments to London during the latest ten months showed a decrease of 4986 tons, while those of West of Britain ports at 34,271 tons increased by 325 tons. Shipments of cheese last month amounted to 8359 tons, compared with 6855 tons for May, 1937, an increase of 1504 tons. Total shipments for the 10 months were 73,446 tons, as against 73.286 tons for the corresponding period of last season, an increase of 160 tons. Shipments to London at 53,816 tons decreased by 2683 tons, but those to West of Britain ports as 19,510 tons were greater by 2888 tons.
