THE LAST WEEK

COMPETITION SOON CLOSES. VALUABLE PRIZES TO BE WON. The first week of the Ford Dealers’ Used Car contest has ended. A display advertisement appeared every day last week on the back page of the “Times-Age” covering various used cars available at Gordon Hughan Ltd., Carterton, and at Fagan Motors Ltd., Masterton. You will need a copy of each of those advertisements if you want to win one of the splendid prizes to be awarded —40 gallons of petrol for the first prize, 20 gallons of petrol for the second prize. This week again similar “R. & G.” Used Car advertisements will appear on the same position. At the end of the week collect all 12 advertisements and from each take one word to make in all a 12-word sentence describing the “R. & G.” Used Car Plan. Post your entries in to “Competition,” C/o the “Times-Age," Masterton. An order for 40 gallons of petrol will be awarded the entrant submitting the best sentence and an order for 20 gallons to the entrant of the next best sentence submitted. The competition will be judged by the editor of the “Times-Age,” whose decision will be final. No employee of the “Times-Age” Co., Ltd., Fagan Motors Ltd., or Gordon Hughan Ltd., is eligible to compete. The competition will close on Thursday, June 30. Back numbers of the “Times-Age” can be obtained at the office or from any agent throughout the district.
