METHODIST CHOIR
ANNUAL MEETING. \ ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Masterton Methodist Choir took place at the Parsonage on Thursday evening, the Rev F. Parker presiding over a large attendance of members. The annual report and balancesheet were read and adopted. It was stated in the report that during the year the choirs had maintained the song services of the church and provided suitable music at Christmas, Easter and other special services. The balance-sheet revealed a satisfactory credit. Officers were elected for the year as follows:—President, the Rev F. Parker; vice-presidents, Messrs S. Sleeman and W. H. Judd; conductor, Mr S. H. Ralph; deputy-conductor, Mr W. Davies; organist, Miss A. M. Jones, L.A.8.; assistant organist, Miss C. Donald, L.A.8.;, secretary, Miss V. Jackson; assistant secretary, Miss A. Birch; registrar, Miss B. Mannell; librarians, Misses P. Sanson and J. Snaddon. A most enjoyable social hour followed the meeting at the close of which a hearty vote of thanks was accorded the Rev and Mrs Parker for entertaining the company.
