RECEPTIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING The Prime Minister, the Rt Hon M. J. Savage, who will arrive in Masterton late this afternoon, will be accorded a civic reception, by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, in the Opera House at 5.30 o’clock. This evening Mr Savage will be welcomed by the Masterton branch of the Labour Party at a reception and dance to be held in the Municipal Hall at 8 o’clock, and tomorrow morning, before proceeding to Wellington, he will visit the Maori pah at Te Ore Ore, where he will be welcomed by the Maoris.
