OBITUARY

MR GEORGE DRYDEN. The death occurred in a private hospital at Masterton this morning of Mr George Dryden, who was born in Milton 65 years ago. The late Mr Dryden was well known and highly respected throughout the Wairarapa, having been for 36 years manager of the Mauriceville Lime Company. He leaves two daughters (Mesdames R. S. Graham, Essex Street, Masterton, and L. H. Joyes, Taumarunui). Mrs Dryden died eleven months ago. The funeral will take place on Monday afternoon, leaving the residence of Mr R. S. Graham. Essex Street, at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
