The attention of Jersey Breeders and dairymen is drawn to the advertisement appearing in this issue with regard to the dispersal sale of the "Heckler” Jersey Stud at Greytown on Tuesday next. An examination of the catalogue reveals that the foundation cattle were drawn from those families of the breed which are famous for their high butterfat producing qualities and their prepotency. Bred in the purple, the cattle to be offered will no doubt attract a good attendance and the auctioneers advise that the cows will come forward in good condition. A feature of the sale is that all females are guaranteed to be in calf so that buyers can operate with confidence.
