GRAND VARIETY CONCERT

HEALTH CAMP PARTY. Those in charge of the Health Camp Concert party, which will hold a concert in the Opera House, Masterton, on Thursday next, will bring together a large number of artists on this night for what should be a thoroughly enjoyable concert. The funds are in aid of the Otaki Children’s Health Camp and the Opera House Furnishing Fund. The admission prices are popular, dress circle and front stalls being Is 6d and back stalls Is. Among the artists are the following: Hamua Maori Glee Party, in action bongs, poi dances, hakas; Sir Gerand’s clever trick dog, “Teddy”; Harry Hall, Wairarapa’s favourite comedian; Miss Adelaide Burnett, Wellington’s champion Scottish dancer and her pupils; Mrs Evelyn Oliver, assisted by four Maori maidens, in songs with guitar accompaniment; Nola Graham and Velma Price, in delightful dances; Miss Peggy Broughton, solos; Mrs J. Moss, ballads; W. Johanson, tenor solos; Rex and Ross Riley, in songs, with saxophone accompaniment by D. Wellington; W. McMichael, baritone solos; Ballet by pupils of Miss Nona Mulvey and Mr J. Stewart; Blue River orchestra. With such a variety of artists the success of the concert is assured, and patrons should buy their tickets at the Trust Lands Trust office and be early for a good seat. The doors open at 7.30 p.m.
