Pay ton, 6/21; Mrs Forsyth and Miss McGregor lost to Misses N. Pay ton and N. Rishworth, 7/21; Misses Bradley and Stubbings beat Mrs Payne and Miss J. Betts, 21/6. Men’s doubles: A. Stubbings and Smith lost to P. Hawksworth and J. Payton. 3/21; H. M. A. Major and E. M. Hodder lost to H. O’Connor and L. Wilson, 14/21; J. C. Forsyth and Hurley lost to R. Smith and P. Rishworth, 14/21. Combined doubles: Miss Stalker and Stubbings lost to Mrs Hawksworth and Hawksworth, 5/21; Miss Kilminster and Hodder lost to Miss B. Pay ton and Payton, 6/21; Mrs Forsyth and Forsyth lost to Miss N. Pay ton and O’Connor, 7/21; Miss McGregor and Major lost to Miss N.
