AWARD OF HONOUR
I 4 CONFERRED ON CLOUSTON. BY NEW ZEALAND AERO CLUB. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Royal New Zealand Aero Club has decided to give its award of honour to Flying-Officer Clouston. This is the first time the award has been conferred. The design, which was approved recently, takes the form of a gold plaque, showing on the obverse a symbolic plane in flight across clouds, flanked by New Zealand fern leaves, and with the Southern Cross and a Maori design below. The words “Royal New Zealand Aero Club, Incorporated, Award of Honour” encircle the whole. The reserve side has a plain centre, to allow of suitable lettering and is encircled with a laurel wreath which is surrounded by a Maori design.
