GOLF TOURNAMENT. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the annual tournament of the Eketahuna Golf Club held during the weekend the Eketahuna, Pahiatua, Hamua, Alfredton, Mahunga, and Makarov.'a clubs were represented. The best gross score (75) was returned by R. McGregor (Eketahuna). The following are the results of the various competitions:— Eketahuna Championship: R. McGregor, Eketahuna; runner-up, C. R. Fourth Flight: A. J. Morgan, Pahiatua; run-ner-up, J. B. Carruthers, Hamua. Fifth Flight: J. Tuckett, Eketahuna; runnerup, W. Mountjoy, Eketahuna. Sixth Flight: J. Morrison, Alfredton; runnerup, A. McGregor, Mahunga. Seventh Flight: R. Mills, Pahiatua; runner-up, C. Morrison, Alfredton. Eighth Flight: K. Marenzi, Eketahuna; run-ner-up, W. Twentyman, Hamua. Consolation Handicap: Mac. Fraser, Eketahuna. Medal Handicap: W. Mountjoy, Eketahuna. Bogey Handicap: C. Morrison, Alfredton. Four-ball Bogey: J. H. MacDonald, Makarewa, and G. Godinagh, Alfredton. MINIATURE RIFLES. The following are the results of two competitions held by the Nireaha Miniature Rifle Club: —First competition: M. Stewart, N. Petersen, C. Hansen, each 99; S. Abraham, 98; L. Hansen, 97; F. Manser, 92; L. Goss, 85; H. Eagle, 45; K. Death, 44. The shoot resulted in a win for N. C. Petersen. Second competition: N. Petersen, 99; M. Stewart, 99; W. Manser, L. Petersen, 66. N. Petersen won the shoot-off. TABLE TENNIS. In a table tennis match at Nireaha, the Mauriceville Club had an easy victory over Nireaha. PERSONAL. Mr D. Signal, who has been manager of the Eketahuna dairy factory for some years, has been appointed manager of the Konini butter factory.
