STEEL PRODUCTION

INCREASE IN GREAT BRITAIN

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. June 13.

The production of steel ingots and castings in the United Kingdom for the month of May amounted to 957.000 tons, as against 938,600 tons for April, and 1,047.300 tons a year ago. The output of pig iron was 633.000 tons, as against 661.000 tons for April, and 696.300 tons for May. 1937.
