HINTS ON THE GAME. GIVEN BY INDIAN PLAYERS. At a practice match arranged between the Excelsior seniors and juniors during the weekend, Peter Fernandez, Ben Abrahams and Lajpat Rai, of the Indian team, gave the players very valuable hints on to how the game should be played. The practice should be of great benefit to the players who attended, and the club is grateful to these visiting hockey players for their assistance. In the India v. Wairarapa match on Saturday, the second goal was scored by Peter Fernandez, not by A. Latif as reported. WAIRARAPA FIXTURES. REFEREES FOR SATURDAY.
