CZECH ELECTIONS

THREE PARTIES ALL CLAIM VICTORY

DELICATE AND DIFFICULT SITUATION.

STIFFENING OF RESISTANCE ON ALL SIDES.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. PRAGUE, June 13.

The British United Press representative states that owing to rival interpretations of the voting based on different methods of counting, the municipal elections have ended in three contradictory “victories” for Government, the Sudeten party and Father Hlinka, leader of the Slovak autonomists.

This is expected to make the internal diplomatic situation a bigger deadlock. Political observers declare it is bound to lead to a stiffening of resistance from all sides and make extremely delicate the forthcoming conversations over Herr Henlein’s demands.
