APPEAL TO POPE
MADE BY ORGANISATIONS IN CHINA.
THE BOMBING OF MISSIONS I & CHURCHES.
(Recd This Day, 10.10 a.m.) HANKOW, June 13.
A joint appeal has been telegraphed to the Pope from several Chinese organisations, including the Catholic Association and Chinese Professors, imploring aid against Japanese aggression, in bombing towns and cities and a number of missions and churches, which had been indiscriminately attacked.
