DEFENCE LOAN
EIGHTY MILLION ISSUE IN BRITAIN.
PART OF BIG PROGRAMME. (Recd This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, June 13. The Government is announcing tomorrow an £80,000,000 three per cent national defence loan, 1954-58, at £9B, yielding, after allowing for redemption, £3 2s 8d per cent. The loan is part of the programme announced last year and makes a total of £180,000,000 thus far borrowed since 1937.
