Rich, expressed appreciation at the large number of parents and friends present, and congratulated the children on the high standard of their performance. He also thanked Miss Kemp and the teachers for the work they had done in training the children. He then took the opportunity of thanking Mrs Braggins for arranging the sale of sweets, Mr Braggins for carting extra chairs, and making scenery.
