ORDER OF DRUIDS
MEETING IN MASTERTON
The fortnightly meeting the Druids Lodge was held in the Foresters Hall last night, the A.D. (Bro T. Pickett) presiding over a good attendance of brethren and visitors.
The lodge was favoured with a visit from the District President (Bro H. J. Bassett) and members of the Totara, Fernleaf and Poneke Lodges.
The secretary reported that eleven members had declared on the sick benefit of the lodge.
A vote of thanks was passed to Bro R. Wright, V.A., and the members wished him a. successful future in his new sphere of life. The District President installed the various officers into their chairs, and was congratulated on his work as installing officer.
The newly- installed officers returned thanks for their election, and promised to work in the interest of the lodge. Bro F. S. Clark reported on the U.F.S. card tournament.
At the conclusion of lodge business the lodge entertained the visitors and members to supper. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £l2 9s 8d were passed for payment.
