MARSHALL'S THIRD WIN MELBOURNE, June 12. In the Empire amateur billiards tournament, Marshall, the Australian champion, had his third win on Saturday, beating Begg (India) by 2244 points to 970. Marshall made six breaks over 100.

In the previous game, Moses (New Zealand), 1333, beat Albertson (New Zealand), 1061. Neither showed good form. Moses’s best break was 106 and Albertson’s 95.
