BIG FREE CONTEST
OPEN TO ALL READERS. VALUABLE PRIZES OFFERED. Forty gallons of petrol are the first prize in a new, fascinating and simple contest now being promoted for ‘•Times-Age” readers by Messrs Fagan Motors Ltd.. Masterton, and Gordon Hughan, Ltd., Carterton. The second prize is 20 gallons of petrol—6o gallons in all being given away in this free contest.
Commencing in today's “Times-Age,” a series of special display advertisements will appear on the back page for 12 consecutive issues. Cut out those advertisements daily until you have all twelve. Then from each advertisement take one word, to make in all a 12word sentence describing the Ford Dealers “R. and G” Used Car Plan as featured in this special campaign. Remember that the advertisements from which you have to select the various words are those on the back page of the “Times-Age” daily featuring specified used cars by Fagan Motors Ltd., and Gordan Hughan Ltd.,— not the “R. and G” advertisements on any other page. • At the end of the 12 days, compose your sentence and post it in to “Competition,” C/o the “Times-Age,” Masterton. An order for 40 gallons of petrol will be awarded to the entrant submitting the sentence best describing the “R. and G.” plan, and an order for 20 gallons will be given to the entrant of the next best sentence submitted.
The competition will be judged by the editor of the “Times-Age,” whose decision will be final. No employee of the “Times-Age” Co., Ltd.. Fagan Motors Ltd., or Gordon Hughan Ltd., is eligible to compete. The competition will close on Thursday, June 30.
