FORTY=HOUR WEEK
ATTACK ON AUSTRALIA’S POLICY GENEVA. June 11. At the International Labour Conference Mr Cully attacked Australia's social policy, declaring that the Commonwealth was sheltering under constitutional difficulties, and was not enforcing a 40-hour week, thus taking an unfair advantage of New Zealand, where the working hours were shorter.
