WRESTLING
AMATEUR BOUTS. The Masterton Wrestling Club will hold a tournament in the new gymnasium in the old Technical School in Dixon Street against a team from Eketahuna. Among the 10 bouts will be one between midgets of 4 stone 7 lbs and a special challenge contest between R. Wickens and R. Hancox. Those who appreciate amateur contests can be assured of a good evening’s entertainment. Between bouts patrons will be entertained with songs of a popular nature by Mr Fred King, while Mr Rhys Donald will also entertain with mouth-organ solos.
