WOMEN’S DIVISION

MANGAONE BRANCH The monthly meeting of the Mangaone branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the school on Wednesday afternoon, Mrs Lowes presiding over a good attendance of members and friends. The meeting opened with the Creed, and after the business was dispensed with, Miss R. White gave a very interesting address on her trip to Singapore and displayed, articles collected on the trip. Mrs Lowes thanked Miss White for her address, which was carried by acclamation. Afternoon tea was then served, Mrs •J. Reid and Mrs J. Judd acting as hostesses.

A competition arranged by Mrs Reid was won by Miss Joan Castle.
