FEILDING SALE STORE EWES IN DEMAND ■ (By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, June 10. A small entry of stock at today’s Feilding sale realised unchanged prices, the demand being quiet but firm. Fat sheep suffered slightly through lack of competition among buyers, exporting interests securing practically the whole yarding. Store ewes were again in demand at high prices at top lines. Good young breeding ewes in particular were sought after. All-cattle lines sold.at late rate, a few pens of well forward Station bullocks making .godd values in the store pens, while ox *De6f also sold firmly. Realisations were as follow: — Eat sheep: Lambs, prime heavy, 21s to 235; second grade, 18s 9d to 20s 6d; lighter, 14s lOd to 18s; best wethers, 25s to 26s 9d; medium grades, 24s 6d; unfinished, 22s to 23s 9d; prime heavy maiden ewes, 21s 9d to 25s 6d; others, 16s 6d to 18s 6d. Store sheep: Good fouf-year ewes, r.w. S.D. falii, 265; m.a. similar, 26s to 26s 6d; choice two-tooth, 40s Id; smaller, 32s 6d; good four-tooth ewes, 36s Id; two and four-tooth wethers, 21s 6d; small two-tooth wethers, 15s 6d; five and six -year ewes 19s 10d; six-year, 16s; fattening ewes, 10s iOd to 15s 6d; wether lambs, good, 16s 6d to 20s; fair, Ils 7d to 14s 4d; ewe lambs, good, 26s 6d; fair, 17s 4d to 17s 9d; black-face lambs, to 17s. Eat cattle: Prime medium weight P.A. ox, £9 15s to £lO 15s; light, £8 Ils to £8 15s; light shorthorn heifers, £6 7s 6d; cows, £6 to £7 10s; vealers, to £3 17s 6d. Store cattle: Forward P.A. steers, £8 12s 6d; 20-month steers, £5; wellgrown Shofthofh steers, £8 17S; Hereford cows, £4; weaner Jersey heifers, best, £2 15s to £3-10s; small, £1 17s 6d to £2 16s; heifers, r.w.b., £2 17s 6d to £4 15s; boner cows, £1 7s 6d to £4 12s.
