BILLIARDS AND SNOOKER
Y.M.C.A. COMPETITION. Playing in the Y.M.C.A. billiards and snooker competition last evening Post Office defeated Y.M.C.A. B by G games to 4. The individual results were as follows (the names of the winning team being mentioned first in each instance) :— Billiards: H. Marsh beat F. Bodie; L. Astridge beat P. Watson; W. J. Miller lost to B. Bodie; H. Worthington lost to W. Reynolds; L. J. Thompson lost to S. Onion. Snooker: H.- Marsh lost to F. Bodie; L. Astridge beat P. Watson; W. J. Miller beat B. Bodie; H. Worthington beat W. Reynolds; L. J. Thompson beat S. Onion. On Tuesday next Daniell’s will play Pioneers and Y.M.C.A. B will play Y.M.C.A. A on Thursday.
