INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM
ARRIVAL IN MASTERTON YESTERDAY.
PRACTICE ON COLLEGE GROUNDS.
Under the management of Professor Jagan Nath and Mr P. N. Quarterman, the Indian hockey team arrived in Masterton yesterday, by the 5.55 p.m. rail-car and were met by officials of the Wairarapa Hockey Association. In the evening the team were the guests of the State Theatre, through the kind invitation of the manager, Mr Solon. .
This afternoon the team will visit the Wairarapa College and after seeing through the activities of the institution will practise on the College grounds. The principal, Mr G. G. Hancox, is doing all he can to give the team a pleasant afternoon. From all accounts those who see this team in action tomorrow will not be disappointed.
