“SNOW WHITE & THE SEVEN DWARFS.”

RKO Radio Pictures announce that Walt Disney’s first full length feature production. “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” in technicolour, will soon be coming to New Zealand and to Masterton.

The “Hollywood Reporter” states: “Probably the most phenomenal picture this industry has ever seen is Mr Walt Disney’s‘“Snow White.”

Records were created in New York, where at the Music Hall it ran five weeks, taking over £25,000 as against the previous best run —3 weeks and only 12 pictures in five years ran 3 weeks. The rest ran for two weeks or one. There was a guaranteed minimum run of 30 weeks in the New Gallery Theatre, London. The theatre was booked out at 8s 6d a seat for ten weeks in advance. All conceivable records have been smashed.
