CROCUS WINS PRINCIPAL EVENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 8. Steady rain fell shortly before the beginning of the concluding day of the Auckland Trotting Club’s winter meeting at Epsom today. The weather later improved, although light showers fell throughout the afternoon. The track was heavy. Totalisator investments amounted to £25,713 10s, compared with £20,219 last year, an increase of £5494 10s. For the meeting the total was £59,102, compared with £53,340 last year, an increase of £5762. Results: —
